"Summer Sound" beach volleyball tournament 
The year 2026

Regulations

1. Purpose and tasks:
- promote beach volleyball;
- involve event visitors in active sports lessons;

2. Contestants:
- Any volleyball fan from the age of 16 participates in the competition;
- Game format 3:3;
- 2 men + 1 woman play in the team (4 players in the team can be entered in the application);
- At least 1 woman must be on the field during the game!;
- Participants themselves are responsible for their health.

3. Place and time of the competition:
- Areas near the main stage of "Summer Sound 2026". 
- on August 1, 2026
- Registration from 10:00 - 10:30.
- Start at 11:00.

Participation fee for the team – 30 Eur

4. The order of competition plays:
- Maximum number of teams – 16 teams;
- The teams are divided into 4 subgroups (A,B,C,D) - 4 teams per group (they are drawn);
- In the subgroups, the teams play against each other (3 games for each team);
- The competition of the 1st and 2nd place teams of each subgroup continues in the playoffs according to the "1-" system - A1:B2, B1:A2, C1:D2, D1:C2;, the 3rd and 4th place teams of the subgroups from further participation withdraws by taking the places according to the points won in the subgroup tournament.
- The winners of the 1st round continue the competition in the ½ finals, the losing teams are ranked 5-8. place;
- the winners of the ½ semi-finals fight in the final for the 1st place for the Summer Sound 2026 champion title, the losing teams fight in the "small final" for the 3rd place;
- All matches are played until the victory of one set - 21 points (with a difference of 2 points);
- Games are judged by the players themselves.

5. Conduct of the competition and evaluation:
- The competition takes place according to the beach volleyball rules approved in Latvia.
- If two teams have the same number of points in the subgroups, the winner of the head-to-head match takes the higher place.
- If three teams have the same number of points, the higher place is taken by the team:
• which has a better ratio of points in mutual games;
• who has the better score ratio in all games.

6. Application for the competition:
Registration for the competition takes place at the Summer sound tent city cash desk by filling out the application form and paying the participation fee. Application starting from 30.07.2026. at: 17.00 

7. Awards:
The participants who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will receive surprise prizes from the Summer Sound organizers.
