Everyone has the right to be in the Summer Sound festival area only if they agree to and abide by the following rules.
The Summer Sound Festival is a place to have fun and enjoy good music, a nice atmosphere and each other's company with those around you. Any manifestation of aggression against others or other anti-social behavior will not be tolerated and the perpetrator will be deported immediately without any compensation and without the right to return to the territory.
- By entering the festival area, you agree that if you are photographed or filmed, you allow your image to be published in the press, the Internet or other media outlets, including the possible future use of the image in the festival's promotional materials in accordance with SIA Summer Sound Festivāls Privacy Policy in the Annex to the Regulations.
- In the festival area, visitors can be subjected to video surveillance, inspection of personal belongings and documents.
- In the festival area you must follow all instructions of the festival organizers and security guards.
- Security guards have the right not to allow visitors to the festival area under the influence of heavy alcohol, if the security guards believe that they could interfere with the festival or endanger the safety of themselves and other visitors.
- We warn you that there are places in the area that are not suitable for children - for example, places where a large number of visitors gather, places right next to the stages or sound systems, etc. If you come with children, do not leave them unattended in any moment and take care of their safety.
- Prolonged listening to loud music is harmful to your health - evaluate how close and for how long you are at the sound systems.
- The festival operates a deposit cup system. Deposit cups can be kept as souvenirs or exchanged for various coupons at all check-in and info points; money for the cups is not refunded.
The organizers are not responsible for:
- injuries suffered by visitors during the festival - be careful not to overestimate your options and protect yourself;
- damage to personal belongings;
- for lost or stolen property - we recommend that you do not bring or leave important or expensive things in the festival territory and in the tent city;
- food, drinks, etc. sold in the festival area and the quality of the goods or services provided. The seller of the product or service provider assumes full responsibility for the safety and quality of the services provided or goods sold.
- The festival will not be canceled due to bad weather; unused tickets will not be refunded.
- The festival organizers have the right to change the festival program without prior notice.
- Please use the rubbish bins installed in and around the festival area and do not litter in the park and the beach.
TERRITORY
The festival area will be open to visitors from July 31st, 2026 at 4:00 pm to August 2nd until 6:00 am.
The festival territory can be entered through two entrances: one of them is located in the park, at the end of Kūrmājas prospekts, the other - on the beach, from the side of the Daugava stadium.
FESTIVAL TICKETS
Tickets for the festival are available on the festival website www.summersound.lvas well as in all sales points of SIA “Biļešu Serviss” and on the website www.bilesuserviss.lv.
We recommend that you do not purchase festival tickets from third parties, as they may be counterfeit or invalid.
Your ticket will be scanned at the entrance to the festival, so please store your ticket carefully and do not allow anyone to copy it or the barcode on it - only the first visitor who presents a ticket with the same code will be able to enter the festival area.
Two-day festival tickets are valid for both days of the festival.
The use of the festival brand, name and tickets in advertising and marketing campaigns, promotions, lotteries and contests is prohibited without written agreement with the festival organizer.
RECEIPT OF ENTRY WRISTBANDS
Next to the entrances to the festival, there will be ticket control points, where, upon presentation of a valid ticket, the entrance wristband of the festival will be placed on your hand. When presenting a ticket with the entrance to the tent city, you will also be put on a wristband that provides the entrance to the tent city.
You will be able to exchange the entrance ticket for the festival entrance wristband at the ticket control points at both entrances of the festival starting from August 1 at 4:00 PM
Please note that in the evening, especially before the performances of the festival's main artists, there are long queues at the wristband control points, so we encourage you to receive the wristband in time!
All festival visitors must have a valid festival wristband in the festival area. They can also be checked in the festival area or when leaving the area. If the wristband is found to be invalid or damaged, or if the wristband is missing, the visitor must leave the festival area. It is forbidden to transfer the festival wristband to another person.
Only the wristband, which is wrapped around the arm, serves as a valid entrance and residence permit for the festival. Counterfeit or damaged wristbands (torn, cut, sewn, glued wristbands or wristbands with damaged safety switches) as well as wristbands that are placed too loosely (which can be removed from the hand without damage) will be considered invalid.
The persons who wear, keep or distribute counterfeit tickets or wristbands, or who are suspected of involvement in counterfeit tickets and wristbands, will be handed over to law enforcement authorities.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
There is no age limit for attending the festival, however, the following rules must be respected:
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Children under the age of 16 after 22.00 must be be accompanied by an adult in the festival area.
- Children under the age of 10 are free to enter the festival, but only with one or both parents who have a valid festival wristbands.
– Klubs++ can be visited by adults over the age of 18.
It is FORBIDDEN TO BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS INTO THE FESTIVAL AREA:
- professional photography equipment (including semi-professional cameras with interchangeable lenses);
- any video equipment;
- umbrellas;
- weapons, explosives, etc.
- drugs;
- food products, alcoholic beverages, as well as non-alcoholic beverages - there will be a sufficient number of outlets, cafes and bars in the festival area, where you can buy it all;
- bulky items;
- other objects which may endanger the comfort or safety of other visitors (knives, gas cylinders, glassware, sharp objects, etc.);
- Pets are not allowed.
It is not intended to hand over unauthorized items and products for storage to security guards or festival organizers.
THE FOLLOWING IS PROHIBITED IN THE FESTIVAL AREA:
- use of open fire (candles, grills, oil lamps, pyrotechnics, etc.);
- use of drugs;
- to carry out any trade, advertising or promotional activities without prior written consent of the festival organizers;
- to film and make sound recordings without prior coordination with the festival organizers;
- Persons under the age of 18 are prohibited from purchasing alcohol.
Tobacco products may be purchased by persons aged 20 and over.
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 must present a valid ID when purchasing alcohol and tobacco products, even without being asked by the seller.
- to swim in the festival territory during the dark hours of the day or while under the influence of alcohol;
- to disturb other visitors or endanger their safety through your behavior.
Transport movement in the festival territory is allowed only with a special model permit issued by the festival organizers.
TENT CITY
Tent city will be open from the 30th of July from 5PM to August 2nd until 3PM.
Only those festival visitors who have purchased festival tickets with a place in the tent city will be able to enter the tent city. To enter and stay in the tent city, visitors must have 2 wristbands - a valid festival entrance wristband and a tent city wristband.
If you have purchased a festival ticket with entrance to the tent city, you will be able to get the tent city wristband at the entrance to the tent city.
If you have purchased a ticket to the festival without a tent city ticket, or have received an invitation and want to use a tent city place, you can buy an entrance wristband at the entrance to the tent city. The price of the tent city wristband when purchasing it on the spot will be specified as the festival approaches.
A separate, well-equipped camping site has been created for campers. The number of places is limited.
In the territory of the tent city, it is prohibited to:
- to bring products and drinks in glass containers and any glassware - broken glass can be dangerous to you and others;
- use of drugs;
- bring pets;
- bring products and drinks into glass containers and any glassware - broken glass can be dangerous to you and others;
- bring flammable objects;
- to carry out any commercial or advertising and promotional activities without the prior written consent of the festival organizers;
- disturb other visitors or endanger the safety of other visitors through your behavior.
CAMPER ZONE
The camper area will be available from the 30th of August from 5PM to August 2nd until 3PM.
Only those festival visitors who have purchased festival tickets and a place for a camper will be able to enter the camper.
To enter the camper city, camper residents must additionally purchase a festival ticket for each person. The camper ticket includes: 1 space for a camper/car with a roof tent and camping wristbands for 4 people. In case more than four people are planning to stay in the camper, additional tent city wristbands must be purchased, with which (when arriving at the check-in point together with the camper) you will be able to receive additional camper wristbands.
Please note that the number of spaces in the camper city is limited.
It is forbidden to do the following in the camper area:
- to bring products and drinks in glass containers and any glassware - broken glass can be dangerous to you and others;
- use of drugs;
- bring pets;
- to bring products and drinks in glass containers and any glassware - broken glass can be dangerous to you and others;
- to carry out any commercial or advertising and promotional activities without the prior written consent of the festival organizers;
- disturb other visitors or endanger the safety of other visitors through your behavior.
About the camper area:
-Showers and toilets are available;
-Electricity connections are available, but you must bring your own appropriate cables/extensions;
-If the camper is towed by a car, only the camper is allowed in the area. Please park the car outside the zone;
-To ensure a comfortable setup for all visitors, spots in the camper area are assigned individually.
The organizers of the festival wish everyone a good rest and invite them not to forget that the atmosphere of the festival depends on the visitors themselves!

Refund Policy
The festival will not be canceled due to bad weather, and unused tickets will not be refunded.
The festival organizers reserve the right to change the festival program without prior notice.
If the festival cannot take place on the scheduled date due to extraordinary and unavoidable circumstances, unused tickets will be valid for the next festival. Tickets will not be refunded.
